Shifting the Spotlight to Local Talent
A New Approach: Local Association Edition
Now, we’re expanding the impact! For 2025 and beyond, every TAA local association can nominate up to three emerging leaders to be featured at the state level, creating a shared pathway for recognition, exposure, and career momentum. The messaging is evolving from “Vote for your favorite” to “Meet the future of our industry.” Instead of being a popularity contest, it’s a celebration of authentic voices, local leadership, and the future of our industry—nominated by those who know them best.
About the Program
Since 2019, TAAEF’s Be the Next challenge has highlighted the authentic stories of professionals with five years or less in the multifamily industry. Through short 1-3 minute videos, ambassadors share their career journeys, spotlighting how the industry supports personal and professional growth.
